The idea
Every month, Snail writes from a different country: a messenger fox in Japan, the birth of coffee in Ethiopia, a dragon in the Highlands. Stories drawn from the world’s oral heritage, written for 6- to 12-year-olds, with their cultural context, a quiz and a word search.

That’s the detail that changes everything: the student isn’t reading a photocopied text, they’re reading a letter addressed to them.
